The Brass LPG Gas Cylinder Valve is a gas-control component used to open and close the LPG supply from compatible gas cylinders. Its brass construction offers durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for appropriate domestic and commercial gas equipment.
Designed for use with compatible LPG cylinder systems, the valve helps control the flow of gas from the cylinder to connected equipment, such as a suitable regulator and gas appliance.
This type of valve may be used as a replacement for a damaged or worn cylinder valve, provided that its connection dimensions, pressure rating and cylinder compatibility meet the manufacturer’s requirements.
It may be suitable for certain 12.5kg and 15kg LPG cylinders commonly used in Nigeria. However, cylinder capacity alone does not guarantee compatibility; the valve connection, thread specification and approved cylinder design must be checked before installation.

Why Choose This Brass LPG Cylinder Valve?
A suitable replacement cylinder valve helps maintain effective gas-flow control in compatible LPG systems. Its brass construction is designed for durability, while the manual control mechanism allows the gas supply to be opened and closed as required.
Choosing the correct valve for the specific cylinder is essential for safe operation and a secure connection.
Safety Information
- Have cylinder valve installation or replacement performed by a qualified LPG technician or approved gas service provider.
- Confirm that the valve is specifically designed and approved for LPG use.
- Do not assume compatibility based only on cylinder capacity, colour or appearance.
- Never force incompatible threads or modify the valve to make it fit.
- Have the completed installation checked for leaks using an approved leak-detection method.
- Never use an open flame to check for gas leaks.
- Keep LPG cylinders upright and away from flames, heat sources and poorly ventilated enclosed spaces.
- Replace damaged valves rather than attempting unauthorised repairs.
